Chris is responsible for the growth and performance of the JLL business in the region. He is also a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Board.
Chris, who joined JLL in 2006, enjoys working closely with clients. He has helped acquire and sell more than S$20 billion worth of commercial real estate in Singapore, Asia and the UK. He has also helped clients lease over 40 million square feet of office, retail and industrial space, and spearheaded the development, analysis and marketing of over 60 major commercial developments. Chris started his career in 1985 in London while an undergraduate at Barclays Bank, where he spent a year on a team responsible for the property management of the bank’s real estate portfolio. He moved to Singapore in 1989 to continue on the real estate path. He earned an MBA at the University of Chicago in 2003, after which he moved to Tokyo for a role as President and CEO of CBRE Japan. Chris was a board member of Sentosa Development Corporation in Singapore from 2009 to 2015 and the Global Vice President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors from 2011 to 2014. Currently he is a member of the Global Remuneration Committee for the RICS. Chris is married and a father of five children. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially while on holiday skiing and hiking. |
