Manila, 16 November 2021 – Global real estate consultancy JLL has appointed Joey Radovan as Country Head, Philippines. He will be succeeding Christophe Vicic, effective from 1 January 2022.

Based in Manila, Joey will report into Chris Fossick, CEO of Southeast Asia. This appointment comes as part of the firm’s succession planning to bolster existing capabilities and align with its growth targets in the region.

No stranger to JLL, Joey joined the real estate firm in October 2020 as Vice-Chairman with the mandate to support the local senior leadership team to drive key transactions and foster close ties with existing clients.

“We’re delighted to announce Joey’s well-deserved promotion. He has played an integral role in the Philippines’ senior management team, which Christophe has established over the years,” says Fossick. “Since joining us, Joey has helped to win new businesses and reinforced our market position in the Philippines. With his extensive cross-border and domestic market expertise, I am confident that Joey’s leadership skills will complement our existing high-performing team and bring the Philippines business to the next level.”

Radovan has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate under his belt. Throughout his career, Radovan has managed accounts and leasing transactions totalling to more than one million sqm for Fortune 500 companies and leading financial institutions. Not only did he conclude the single-largest built-to-suit office lease totalling 70,000 sqm in the country, but his key account is also one of the largest information technology and business process outsourcing companies in the Philippines.

Recently, he was appointed by one of the biggest local food and beverage companies to provide strategic advisory and portfolio management services. He has a successful track record in capital markets and investment sales, in particular, selling the same office building in Bonifacio Global City twice over a period of 20 months.

Radovan’s predecessor, Vicic, will be moving to Malaysia to support YY Lau, Country Head, Malaysia, in growing the business in leasing, capital markets, consulting and strategic advisory.

“This is an exciting time for the commercial property sector in Southeast Asia as we look towards a post-pandemic future. There are tremendous market opportunities across the region, and we strive to continue providing our clients with extensive advice and supporting them across their real estate needs,” concludes Fossick.
