JLL ramps up CSR initiatives through employee engagement, partnerships
Global real estate professional services firm teams up with CCI-France’s FPUA.
Real estate professional services and investment management firm JLL has always given back to the communities and territories that they operate in, and the Philippines is no exception. Country Head Christophe Vicic says, "JLL has grown by leaps and bounds since starting our Philippine operations 20 years ago, and it is our responsibility to ensure that we do good for the communities we serve."
Vicic shares that the company will always start with its own employees, and this was evident in the recent JLL Halloween Party, wherein the 'registration fee' was toys, clothes and books for children 12 years old and below. The event was open to all JLL employees and family members, and Vicic is happy they were able to achieve two goals at the same time. "We wanted to engage our employees and get to know them better and while doing that, we were able to collect a good amount of donated gifts for less privileged kids just in time for the holidays."
And as a member of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCI – France), JLL is working with its foundation, France Philippines United Action Foundation (FPUA) to make CSR projects more effective and sustainable through its Privilege Partner Program. FPUA projects include Christmas Baskets from sourced from local communities, campaigns for better eyesight and promoting good nutrition, health and hygiene among children.
Vicic highlights, "The FPUA Privilege Partner Program offer benefits in capacity building and training, project management, communication and visibility. This makes us a perfect partner for this endeavor, and we are very honored to be given this opportunity to use our expertise for the greater good."
